Happy 2012! Daniel has recently returned from extensive trips to New York in order to once again join the all-star cast of Musical Highlights for their 2012 German tour. This years cast includes Karin Hylander, Phiipp Hägeli, Sabine Neibersch, Petter Bjällö, as well as newest cast member Anna Thorén, most recently known for her portrayal of Elphaba in the hit musical "Wicked" in Oberhausen, Germany. While adhering to some traditional colors of Soul and R&B music, Daniel and his Brooklyn based partner, Quinn "Dr. Q" McCarthy have been sculpting a new and individual sound with their latest recording project. The setting: The Creamery Studios. Vibing on the inspiration of timeless favorites like Shuggie Otis and the industrial feel of surrounding Greenpoint in Brooklyn, NYC, the two have carved an electrifying musical landscape for the albums themes about inner-reflexion and isolation, as well as love and friendship.
